The World Corporate Golf Challenge is a story of golf, competition, networking and media. It is the most established global “Business to Business” golf tournament. It was spawned from UK’s The Times Corporate Golf Challenge that was established in 1993. In 2007, Jose Guerra bought the event and moved the company to Spain whereby it developed significantly with strong media and marketing support from TIME and Fortune magazines, plus television partner Golfing World TV.
Participants are C-suite business executives with substantial purchasing power, aged 30-60, from companies in different industries.
More than 30 countries will hold local, regional, and national tournaments organized by licensed partners. The top national team will represent the country and company at the World Final for the chance to be crowned World Champion.
Singapore will hold its Inaugural World Corporate Golf Challenge in 2023 at Sentosa Golf Club and it will be exciting to see a team from Singapore competing in the World Final
As the hallmark of care and share, Community Chest has been uniting the community to fundraise and serve those in need, since 1983. Community Chest supports more than 100 social service agencies and over 200 programmes to meet underserved, critical social needs.
In conjunction with Community Chest’s 40th Anniversary, the World Corporate Golf Challenge Singapore would like to rally for your support for this fundraising initiative. 100% of your contributions goes towards empowering the lives of adults with disabilities, children with special needs and youth-at-risk, families in need of assistance, persons with mental health conditions and seniors in need of support.
